I have a chocolate retriever. She’s never brought me chocolate…
Pity the people with German Shorthaired Pointers. “I bought the darn dog for hunting game fowl and all it does is point rudely at short haired Germans!”
My duck tolling retriever has worked out quite nice, I never knew ducks had so much coin!
The ducks in Nova Scotia must all be mallards to have so much loose change. Why, you may ask?. Because they have green heads but no greenbacks.
If they are in Nova Scotia they would not be greenback but “loonies” :)
(It’s a Canadian joke.)
I forgot they don’t have dollar coins, so I was a bit confused about the greenbacks joke. D’oh!
I was going to make a loonie joke until I remembered loons are not ducks.

Ohhh, I’ve a ton of ‘em! Every time I put my bearcoat round my shoulders to keep myself warm, she sniffs my ears. And I’ve yet to find the sleeves.
