I found this song while look up deer hounds:

George Stubbs is one of the absolute premier painters of animals. His treatise on the anatomy of the horse is a classic reference still in use. I had the privilege to see some of his actual paintings (not reproductions) . . . extraordinary.

The galloping pose of the stag and hound we know now is not “correct” — they didn’t have photography or video in those days!! — but the action and the impact is certainly there, as well as a superb landscape, color and lighting.
