The hay that was cut last week has since been baled and hauled off.

It’s also rained since the hay has been removed, so it’s actually a bit greener than it might have been.
The crows and other scavengers have been eating well. The mowing and baling process cuts up any number of small animals, which are now just lying there in the open for the scavengers to eat.
Looks alot like our fields in Missouri after hay cutting. Only thing one can not now see where the deer slept the night prior. It is only missing the red tail hawks that feed on the mice and snakes.
Great time to get a horse and gallop along the pave .
Where I live, the coyotes follow the balers and have a feast.
Coyotes around here come out in the open only at night.
They know they are dead meat if they are spotted during the day.
