This is number 4,000.
I can’t believe I’m that full of shit.
But I guess I am.
Do I have another 4,000 in me?
I don’t know, but I wouldn’t bet against it.
I didn’t think I’d make this far.
In one sense, I can’t believe that I’ve been able to produce that much work.
But I do know that writing all of these posts has definitely changed me.
They have helped me grow as a writer and as a rationalist.
I know now that I would write about these things whether anyone would read them or not.
But I’m also deeply grateful for my readers.
Which brings me to the second milestone.
By this time tomorrow or very early Saturday morning, this blog will have 3 million hits.
If my normal rate holds for tomorrow, that’s where the counter will go.
4,000 posts and 3 million hits.
All within the same 24-hour period.
Amazing.
