I don’t know anything about the dogs or people in this photo, but it intrigues me: a black wavy-coated flat-coat and what appears to be a golden retriever!
The golden retriever has white flashes on its nose, and it looks a lot like Culham Copper.

I have a copy of that same photo. It appears to be British, probably after 1900 (1920-ish? or a bit later), a group of gamekeepers from an estate, as indicated by their very similar dress. Many Goldens of that time carried white markings.
This appears to be a photo of the Gamekeepers Kennel Assn members who ran shows for gamekeepers dogs somewhere between 1900-1910. The gentleman on the lower left appears to be the same one pictured in Peter Mills book in a photo with John Proudlock.
