I’m full of envy, newts ate our young tadpoles here last week
There are so many of them! :)
We didn’t even hear the peepers this year. I’m afraid that salt runoff from this past winter may have done them in.
Peepers are going crazy in our Queens park vocalizing. I used to spot them back in the 1990s. Now, hard as I look, I rarely see one. Either there are fewer of them or I’m getting impatient with age.
I am baffled and dismayed. I did not hear peepers this year, a sound I look forward to every year. I’m wondering why. Now that it is June I hear the tree frogs. I have been trying to find a answer and came across this blog. Any ideas???
