I received 2,437 hits on Sunday.
But then I received 1,377 on Monday. (My days end and begin at 8 PM EDT, which will be a 7 PM on EST.)
Apparently Google’s algorithm changed.
At least that’s what I hope happened.

The reason why the blog posts have not been as good as they have been is I’m currently working on something (details will be revealed once it’s all finalized. I piqued your curiosity, didn’t I?).

I read your blog every week or so, and categories would help me. On my blog, I occasionally refer to something you’ve said, with a link to your blog. My dashboard shows a few click-throughs when I do it, but I don’t have nearly the readership you have.
Like Pai, I like your breed histories — yours don’t follow the party line, which make them interesting to read. (I’ve always been curious as to why you don’t write about Irish Water Spaniels. Maybe because they don’t have “retriever” in their name?) Also, I like the pictures, discussions of history, genetics, and breeding. I’d be curious about genetic diseases in dogs, also.
I’m not as fond of the entries about other animals — I don’t care all that much about opposums, for example — but then, I can always skip the ones I’m not interested in.
I also use the links you include — some of them were dead last time I used them, but I haven’t kept track of which ones.
