I don’t think the appeal to nature argument necessarily fits here. Israeli wolves (Canis lupus arabs) are very different from the big pack hunting wolves we have here.
I’m much more comfortable with talking about how easily and how eager dogs are to learn from us, and her methods fit nicely with those tendencies.
And yes, she does use punishments. If I had my copy of my book handy, I’d describe how she taught Oprah’s golden retriever to stay on the property.
I’m also embedding her video simply because she pisses the other side off as much as Cesar pisses me off.
So does she tackle aggressive/problem dogs, or just puppies/normal ones?
I don’t have her book handy, but her own doberman cross had some issues with aggression with other dogs. I forget exactly what she did.
