It is about a golden retriever SAR dog named Puzzle, who looks a lot like a dog I’ve seen before.
Apparently, the author gets Puzzle in hopes of turning her into an SAR dog. However, she isn’t used to a dog with a lot of drive.
But that drive is what makes her a useful SAR dog.

This looks like a promising book. Sort of “Marley and Me” with an owner/handler interested, willing and able to do what it takes to work with a working dog. I’m going to look for this.
