This video is hysterical. It is over 2.5 hours of absolute poppycock.
I once watched this whole thing.
I will only do that once.
My favorite of his red herrings:
He doesn’t know where the grizzly bear’s historical range was. I haven’t watched all of this version, but in one version of this lecture, he asks how many grizzly bears were roaming Florida 200 years ago. He thinks there were lots of them. I can tell you with certainty that there were never any grizzlies in Florida.

I have run into these idiots before. It is fun to play with them. You know you have them when they start to call you a secular humanist, a term they use freely but don’t understand.
I once got into a heated argument with a Baptist preacher. The argument was over does a Dog have a soul. This clown was telling me dogs and all other animal had no souls, why, because it wasn’t mentioned in the Bible. He failed to recognize I was rapidly progressing into a berserker level of rage. When I finally lost control with the statement if there where no dogs in heaven the I didn’t want to go there, what his reply was to this day I don’t remember whatever it was I ended up picking him up and threw him out of the house through the front door of my parents house, note I said through, the front door which was closed at the time. I totally blew out the door and the door frame. Why I wasn’t hauled of to jail I will never understand unless God agreed with my argument and understood my loss of control. This waste of skin picked himself up and staggered off never to be seen again. My rage was frighting and I vowed never to let that demon out again. Instead I now make creationists angry by pointing out how much Bovine Scatology their so called facts are.
I don’t know if you can stand it, but Hovind takes bovine scatology to whole other level.
When we lived in Florida we used to get the Baptists all the time. They would leave stuff in the mailbox as well as knocking on the door.
‘Bout six months ago I had a woman come up the driveway in a very nice Ford truck to evangelize at me. We have a rather unconventional lifestyle and I don’t know what she expected (illiterate white trash, survivalists, maybe hippies) but she did NOT expect an atheist using multisyllabic words. She got really flummoxed and I was nice and resisted the urge to have fun with her. I did warn her not to drive all the up any other driveways, though. Good way to get shot at out here.
The famous comedian Will Rogers must have encountered one of these “animals-have-no-souls” arguements, because one of his famous quotes(paraphrased here) is, “If dogs don’t go to heaven, then when I die, I want to go where they go!”. I never had such a physical confrontational encouter with door-to-door proselytizers(yet)–one reason is that I used to have a splendidly guardy Catahoula that was “proven” on Jehovah’s Witnesses–the term I used when I was promoting him as a useful stud dog a coupla times! And he stopped them in their tracks and sent them packing, let me tell you! So I never had to raise a finger or say a thing…..my old Catahoula is long gone now, but wherever he went, faithful a dog as he was, I know he’s a waitin’ fer me, an that’s also where I want to go…….
Kent Hovind’s arguments are pretty bad, even for Creationists.
He makes many arguments that EVEN Answers In Genesis and Creation Ministries International say should be avoided.
He’s full of interesting theories.
I find him more entertaining than anything.
The best one of his is the exchange between him and a molecular geneticist from Northern Ireland. Hovind calls him a salmon expert– not a molecular geneticist.
