Harlequin pinchers? And yes, I believe folks are, although I think the way they are going about it is daft.
I also say harlequin pinschers. And yes people are trying to revive them. Some breeders use Rat Terriers (I think) and Min Pin crosses, and selectively breed for the merle and harlequin colors, although I’ve never seen a true harlequin colored pinscher.
Why make a new breed? Just get a merle rat terrier – I believe they might be called Atlas terriers?
Or cross merle into the min pin gene pool – look at all the colors doxies and chihuahuas now come in.
They look like Pinschers and the colour looks like the “faulty” grey harlequin seen in Danes.
