I’m going to visit my cousin in Louisiana this weekend.
I’m also taking a football game (not my favorite activity).
I’ll just think of dogs, 70 degree weather, and leaves that are turning in the autumn sun for the way too longness that is an American football game.
If you have my cell number, you can call me.
(But if you have my number, you already know this.)
Oh well, off to Louisiana:
BTW, now you know what’s wrong with me: I don’t get football or anything that involves balls and teams. I choose to be willfully ignorant here.
And that’s that.

Just gamble on on it. WVU is a 9 point underdog. That’s how I get through cricket matches.
Seriously, you can just call a toll free number in Costa Rica, and they will credit your visa when you win. I am sure it’s perfectly legal by now.
If you’re not into football, baton rouge on a Saturday night, will make for unbelievable (drunk) people watching. As James Carville said: “Half the fans in the stadium can’t even spell LSU.”
Although I occasionally listen to the home team on the radio while I’m doing other stuff, going to spend 3 hours or so just to see 12 minutes of action is not my idea of a good time.
But I agree with bill. As long as you are going, think of it as a sociological field work and study the habit of the natives of this strange country.
Drunk watching is interesting.
WVU fans have been known to put back a few.
I don’t think they can spell it either.
I was hoping to use Bill for gator bait this
Weekend, looks like I will have to use
Retrieverboy. I am going Tiger hunting
Tomorrow night, mums needs a fur coat.
‘eers by 4.
What the hell my comments do
Not need moderation. I am telling
Gramps
Scottie, you are not just going to some lil ole high school football game, you are going to Tiger Stadium on Saturday night!!!! There will be PLENTY to observe and think about, not to mention food to sample. And we have a cold snap coming this weekend–it’s only supposed to be 91 today in Baton Rouge.
I don’t know how long you are in State for, but you are invited up to Natchitoches to sample some meat pies and see if you can hypnotize Blizzard into being less protective.
Laura
LOL
Yeah, I’m going to Death Valley.
I’m staying in Baton Rouge just for today.
My cousin has an internship with Exxon.
Well, if I had known you were coming, I’d have baked a cake, or at least tried to make it down to BR and take you to dinner. Come back in December and get your cousin to bring you up to Natchitoches to see the lights.
Enjoy the experience. Whenever I see all the motorhomes and mutliply by $100,000 and then add up all the money spent on season tix and parking passes, I get a little woozy.
I have missed being able to chat. My knee getting better so I could get back to exercising is cutting into my social life– if a chat room could be considered a social life, not to mention taxiing the kids around to their various activities.
I have some nice pics of retrieverboy in downtown
BR, I was fattening him up for gator bait.
I’ll put them on the blog readers’ group when I get home.
I’ll be looking for you on tv this evening. What section are you in and are you wearing (or not wearing) any distinguishing items?
I will be wearing a white and tan
Jumpsuit sitting with some hillbillies
That will not be wearing any shoes
That narrows it down a bit!!!
What is the slang term for rural swamp
People that do not conduct themselves
Appropriately in public?
Jack Russells.
Jack Russells
Retrieverboy is a hillbilly coon ass
That’s an oxymoron.
You can’t be a hillbilly and a coonass.
BTW,
Are we taken in any of the Northern part of the Vaterland in December?
That’s where we’re from.
Munich is Bavaria, south and Catholic.
Coonassman, you are from the swamps
Go jump in the pond and look for your
Kin folk
LOL
