I was looking something up recently on Mongolia and ran across them. On a blog, maybe? I had to google the name, though.

Looks more like a black bear crossed with a yak to me :)
After Googling the Banhar I’ve come to the conclusion it looks like the Bernese Mountain Dog gone bad
