I’ve seen a lab that likes to catch big carp. It’s fun to watch. Amazing how he stands there so still until he see his chance.
One of the more famous (infamous?) lawsuits in Scotland years ago was based on a dog poaching salmon from a major landowner’s stream. Fishing rights are jealously guarded in Scotland.
And then there was the Golden in Indiana, who spent an entire Sunday fetching carp from the stream where they were spawning, and piling them on his owner’s back porch. Owners came home to find a tired, but very happy and wet retriever showing off his catch– several hundred dead fish!
