Among the Kaiser’s men stands a mighty miniature pinscher. I bet this dog was of some use in keeping the rats under control in the trenches– but only if the rats weren’t too big.
Of course, they could have been fighting in the Eastern Front, where it was a lot colder.
In that case, the minpin wouldn’t have stood much of a chance.
But the Germans did a whole lot better on the Eastern Front than on the Western Front during the First World War. Fewer stray bullets flying. Definitely safer.
Little minpin was useful in War too,it seems that size is not matter :)

Don`t underestimate the Minpin. I have seen them rat, and they are quick and deadly.
