The researchers are also looking for samples from affected dogs from the following breeds:Â Great Pyrenees, Dogues de Bordeaux, Vizslas, Beagles, Basset Hounds, Greyhounds (also Italian Greyhounds and Whippets), Bernese Mountain Dogs, Cocker Spaniels, Clumber Spaniels, Salukis, and Scottish Deerhounds.
