Coyote takes out cat

I live in Vancouver. This happens here very frequently. In fact, I live near a golf course and see coyotes (which reside on the course & in the woods nearby) several times a month. They even run through my garden once in a while.

They tend to eat rats, mice, rabbits and raccoons but will certainly go after cats and small dogs. One reason why outdoor cats here have significantly shorter lifespans than indoor cats is the presence of urban coyotes.

  Basically, eastern coyotes are the main predatory mammal where I live, so feral cats and free-roaming cats don’t last long at all.

The Coyotes came to town about a year ago, they were never really here in numbers before then. The neighborhoods were flooded with MISSING CAT signs. I think by now all the outside cats have been liquidated as the signs are much fewer in number.

    Every other animal that is a threat to their pet cats wandering at will should die so that they don’t have to take any responsibility for letting their cat roam in the first place. Obviously.
