A parable for today perhaps?
It looks like the cartoonist had studied some paleo. I don’t think I’ve ever seen cartoon cycads in a cartoon representation of dinosaurs. I’ve never seen Equisetales or Lepidodendron in anything not intended for a specialist audience. True, Lepidodendron went extinct before the dinosaurs evolved…but fascinating to see it represented at all.
