Because of all the rain we’ve had this year, the hay cutting has been delayed. This week they were able to cut the hay, and today, they made the round bales.

My neighbor just do his this past week. This looks just like his fields.
These huge bales are rather picteuresque. When I see them sunlit in a field of golden stubble, they remind me of a Van Gogh painting.
What kind of hay is that? Three-way? Four-way? some kind og grass? Looks gorgeous. We pay $14 to $19 for a three-wire recangulat bale that weighs tops of 105 lbs.
Just orchard grass and clover. Stuff that grows in the pastures here without any tending.
