Strange that we on this island are so far north yet today the temperatures were in the high teens. The jet stream is currently forcing warm winds up from the south. Tomorrow, though,we are likely to pay for it if a huge storm developing in the Atlantic hits us as predicted. It couldn’t come at a worse time with the trees still carrying most of their leaves, like sailing ships before the shipwreck…!

Miley gorgeous as usual. Is she starting to get her winter coat? Going to be 89 here in the desert but drops to 49s at night.

When you live in a rented apartment, why spend the winter where it snows? Does anyone want to recommend the area they live in as a good place for mid aged and older people to retire to?
