   Sounds to me like this area is DESPERATE for some tourist dollars. Perhaps this is the same subspecies of Squatch as the fabled Arkansas “Fouke Monster”? They would have to be VERY closely related, if not. In fact, “very closely related” might well describe some of the individuals who have sighted the beast(s).(Now don’t get all riled up, people–I’m a hillbilly myself, and it ain’t political discorrect if’n you joke about yer own cultural subgroup….). Why suddenly(my first question) are these critters being seen just recently? Haven’t they been around all these years? Or are the Squatches particularly nomadic–moving from state-to-state at random? That would certainly be a good tactic to avoid being pinned down–many criminals use that quite effectively. Perhaps if Bigfoot was featured on “America’s Most Wanted” we’d get better results in one’s capture?(at long last….) What to me is more miraculous than the possibility of Bigfoot, is (as far as I know) no incident where someone in a gorilla suit has yet been shot either!(perhaps they have–just not reported!). Yes, there ARE people CRAZY enough to run around in the woods in a gorilla suit hoaxing their neighbors and friends–I did it myself in my misspent, risk-taking teen-age years! I SHUDDER at some of the chances I took back then…..And what about the lady reporter interviewing the one guy, “you sure it wasn’t a gorilla?”–Dang, lady, the only thing I can think of MORE UNLIKELY in Oklahoma than a Bigfoot, would be an actual GORILLA running around in the woods surviving the local conditions and backwoods gun-toters! I’m inclined to think the Seminole guy has it right–Bigfeets have psychic powers to avoid detection!
