   You know one of the contestants there has bred generations of dogs specifically for Ugly Dog contests for something like 15 years now. And it’s fairly obvious a lot of these crosses are the results of people making them on purpose, because I get suspicious that there are that many ‘accidental’ PugxHairless Dog mixes out there that they should be so common in these events.

     Correction, he’s been breeding Ugly Dogs for 30+ years, not 15.

     Just so long as they aren’t intentionally breeding dogs with health problems, I have no problem with it.

       I notice this Yoda has a severely twisted muzzle; several of the past Ugly Dog contestants/winners did as well (for examples Google ‘Elwood’ and ‘PeeWee Martini’). Do you know what might be the cause of that type of birth defect?

         Dunno. I’m familiar with wry mouth, where one side of the lower jaw will get longer than the other (Lilith has it), but not problems with the upper jaw. Don’t see why you couldn’t have a ‘wry maxilla’ or ‘wry face’ as well.

   Merle,yes! Bobtail,no corkscrew bulldogtail is better ……And don`t forget wire hair and some extra dewclaws….and short twisted condroplastic leggs and ridegeback ..semi hairless of corse!
