I have known a number of really fit, fast, athletic Bostons…just goes to show a somewhat shortened muzzle doesn’t have to be such an issue, its the completely flat faces that really hurt dogs. Breed a few pugs with a more pronounced nose and I would be 75% of their issues fall away.
A totally flat face is incorrect for a Boston anyway. But show ring fashion never cares about little things like that.
