I’m getting a few twigs tomorrow from the wood next to us. Ours is not much different from yours except I hope there will be a few more berries not yet eaten!
Blame the hermit thrushes for the lack of berries.
Ours are loaded w/ berries this year-despite the best efforts of the Mocking Birds, migrating Robins, overwintering Bluebirds and huge flocks of Cedar Waxwings. These last have been diverted by all the Oriental Bittersweet berries available in the hedge-rows, otherwise the holly berries and crab apples would already be history.
