On nature shows, we are usually shown iconic predator and prey battles. How many of you can remember the films that portray such classics as the lion versus the Cape buffalo, the cheetah versus the Thompson’s gazelle, and the wolf versus the elk?
Well, here’s something to add to that pantheon of predation.
Two noble golden retrievers versus fellest of all wild beasts– the rare and elusive Pikachu:
Here, you can see a good example of what is called a “play face.” Golden retrievers tend to have a distinctive “play face.” It lies somewhere between the look of total derangement and pure bliss.
The dogs are hardcore adorable (I mean, noble).
While I do so adore anime, I am not adverse to Pikachu getting itself Reteriever-ated (get it? Retrievers Ate It…*ahem* it’s why I’m no marketing genius).
Come on, GMAB, this is bad behavior. Please do not encourage this. Most people can’t separate prey from play behaviors.
Jeez…the girl is making a complete ass of herself. I muted it 2 seconds in and probably didn’t miss much. Our golden mix definitely has a playface that is usually accompanied by the happy dance or the “let’s play” prance. Irresistable!
