   If you poked me IN THE FACE with a stick, I’d have to say I’d have a similar response, too. Some people really do get what they deserve.

     Maybe they were in a hurry.

     I don’t think they had released a leopard before…

     Rule: If you poke a leopard in the face, be prepared for the consequences.

   Heh. This is a good illustration of why you should always treat animals with respect — even the ones that aren’t big, powerful predators. (I’ve seen people be very reckless around deer, for example. I don’t care how tame it seems, it can still hurt or kill you!)

     a frightened deer hits the panic-button REALLY hard –
     they can kill U and not even notice.

     i would never trust a buck in rut, either – all it takes is a certain posture to set them off, when they are in the grip of testosterone-poisoning. poor things – U have to feel for them, they go thru puberty every bloody year; that’s enuf to make anyone irritable and murderous.

   TEACHING the CAT to be *cranky* with humans is asinine beyond belief. ::thumb-down::
   i think he deserved it – altho i am sorry for the poor sod screaming in the passenger seat – only the DRIVER was too stinking impatient to let the cat exit in their own time, and the camera-operator was no great prize, either.

   GET OUT OF THE WAY, eejit… yeesh. that’s what zoom-lenses are made for…

   At about 22 seconds you see the drivers door open and rumour has it he’s still running and yelling “clockwise you bloody idiot, clockwise”.
   I wouldn’t poke my domestic cat in the face with a stick unless I was in dire need of a big dose of pain. If not from the cat then most certainly from my better half!
   That leopard certainly didn’t waste any time giving stick man the good news! Nice work!

   This clip illustrates leopards’ remarkable intelligence and determination. Not only did it figure out who had prodded it with the stick and where they were located, but it wasted no time in finding a way to punish the offender.
