   One of the first things I read (about the mastiff):

   “No wonder the wretched thing is having to rest its head.”

   I’m sorry, but crap like that makes me take EVERYTHING else said with a grain of salt. Gee whiz, my schnauzers are resting their heads right now. Must be the weight of their beards. STOP SCHNAUZER BREEDING!!!!

   See? Silly, stupid, sensationalist.

   I don’t do sensationalism, lies, half-truths, etc., even in the name of “good” dog breeding. The ends never justify the means.

   It is sad to me that the only way a German Shepherd(from show lines, at least) looks good now, is when it is SITTING or LYING down! And this is NOT sensationalism, just the facts from anyone with an ACTUAL FUNCTIONING view of dogs(and by functionning, I don’t mean trotting about a show ring at an unathletic human’s pace–in fact those wretched GSD’s can BARELY do that now…..)
