Every year at about this time in the summer, I walk through this stretch of woods that is full of chanterelles.

I’ve been told they are a delicacy, but I’ve never been able to must the courage to try them until now.

Turkey family

Two hen turkeys have combined their broods/ I think one of these is same batch from earlier, which are already massive compared to their initial appearance on Memorial Day Weekend.
