we were asked to dog sit (more like boarding I guess) a goldendoodle for three months this summer. we’re considering it…
Jen, do it! They’re hilarious! My Baxter pretended to be annoyed by the little one we babysat a few months ago, but after a while, he was having a blast with the little guy (see: http://www.smallchichome.com/2010/11/babysitting.html).
They’re very cute, little mutts. :)
This “birdy” behavior really should not surprise anyone. These are field dogs.
If we tie this into the back-crossing post, after a couple of back crosses with field dogs and then “presto-chango”, a golden look alike with some new genes. (Or a poodle look alike for that matter.)
Have you ever seen a “smooth-coat” goldendoodle?
They really look like goldens.
