I am consciously trying to keep this blog from becoming nothing more than a series of drive-by attacks on whatever topics of the day avail themselves to me.
I will occasionally refer to news pieces that interest me, but I’m trying to keep it at a minimum. I know my hits nearly doubled when I blogged about the Crufts DQ’s in March.
But that’s not what I do. The news of the day is very easily forgotten. Careful analysis, however, can be used to inform.
I seek to produce careful analysis.
I also don’t think rehashing and reanalyzing things that are happening right now is a very wise use of this space.
I have better things to do.
I also don’t want to use this blog for collective outrages.
There’s too much of that crap on the internet.
If you think that’s what a blog like this one should be used for, you’ve probably spent too much time living near Washington (“Warshington”) D.C., where smear merchants and spinners (which used to referred to by the very technical term called “liars”) are king.
I don’t cater to the stupid, and I don’t cater to those who want to get hits from picking a public fight with me.
If you don’t like this blog, start your own. No one is stopping you! On WordPress and Blogger, they are free!
