A new species of tube-nosed fruit bat has been found in the Nakanai and Muller Mountains of Papua New Guinea.
It looks like LucasFilm is going to have to sue Mother Nature for copyright infringement.
LOL.
Wait a minute.
Shouldn’t it be the other way around?

I’m not sure everyone likes finding a note on their dashboard saying: Retrieverman’s Weblog has linked you to a fruit bat.
It does sound a bit impolite. And “tube-nosed” sounds unhealthy, like in an oxygen tank – either that or a wee bit threatening.
And worst of all – where’s the link?
Do you know I once had my breast humped by a friut bat named Gumby? True. He just flew out of the sky, landed on my shirt and started . . . I was about to swat him, when his owner came forward.
Gumby had been bottle fed, and his owner, thought this was a funny thing to do to tourists. One guy in the group was laughing the most, and he made some rude comments.
Just then, Gumby flew back down and landed on his back and started humping him – everyone was laughing and he had no idea why.
Two girls ran screaming away, with Gumby flying after them.
It was obvious that, physically, fruit bats have something in common with stallions. I understand that all hand raised male friut bats (of that species) act like gumby – like they live on Viagra.
Gives the phrase “Going batty” a whole new meaning, doesn’t it?
