   She looks like our (current) dog, Maple. Possibly a Murray River Curley Coated Retriever.

   She definitely looks like an Irish Water Spaniel to me. She’s not a Curly Coat.

     I don’t know if you’ve seen a Murray River Curly:

     They are a bit more of a water spaniel than a curly. This is a different breed from the regular curly.

     I do agree that this dog is an IWS.

   Depending on the area this came from it is possible if it isn’t an Irish Water Spaniel, it could be an American Water Spaniel even though there is no flag on the tail.. but there is also no discernable top knot. I think this is one for the confusing brown dog site if it can ever be discerned what breed the dog definately is.
