Mickey is a Boston terrier who belongs to Nick Selan and Teresa Fogus, who currently live the Atlanta area. Nick and I were good friends from College Democrats, and he and I keep in touch regularly.
I met Mickey in 2008, when Nick and Teresa were living in the Charleston, West Virginia, area. I had come down to volunteer for a Joe Biden campaign event.
After the event, I went to Nick’s house, and Mickey spent the afternoon sitting on my lap. I rubbed his chest, and he sat up like a little person.
I’ve been meaning to ask for a Mickey photo to put on the blog for some time.
He’s a cool little dog.
what is the weight difference generally between them and bull-type terriers? Like 15-20lbs?

I once knew a Boston with an oversized tongue (or maybe just an undersized rest of body). When she panted, her tongue slapped her forehead rather aggressively. Awesome dog.
