This dog is a cross between a Boston terrier and a poodle (“Bossi-poo.”)
I know the ears don’t make sense, because generally, erect ears are recessive to drop ears.
However, this is not an absolute. One of the F1 boxer/corgi crosses in Bruce Cattanach’s bob-tailed boxer program had erect ears. Another example of this cross also has erect ears.
I was sure that others were right with the Brussels Griffon/?bat? mix, but I couldn’t account for coloring and legs. While I don’t think I could admit to the mix name, I will admit that the other Bossi-Poo is cute.
the ears aren’t the problem… the coat makes no sense and neither do the whiskers and eyebrows (unless this is a puppy in a puppy clip)
Well, some crosses between smooth-haired dogs and poodles (and poodle-types) are actually true wire hairs. The German wire-haired pointer and the pudelpointer both have poodle ancestry, and the pudelpointer has only poodle and English pointer in it.
