I’d be curious to see a wolf/sighthound cross for some odd reason.

That’s an interesting cross for sure.
Years ago I visited the local humane society and was rather taken with a dog there named Rose who had come in with two or three pups. Rose was a Siberian husky/whippet cross, and looked rather like a rangy coyote, which I thought was pretty awesome. Plus the notion of a dog that was potentially both cold-adapted and really fast apparently appealed to me. IIRC sighthounds are frequently used to create so-called “Alaskan Huskies” for racing purposes. My friend who was with me thought Rose was gangly and odd looking and didn’t understand my enthusiasm. Hopefully she found a home with someone who appreciated her.
