Dear Scotty,
May I say how wonderful I’ve found your blog over the past few years and congratulate you on it.
Sadly all good things etc. my name is Peter Dawson I live in Buckinghamshire in the south of England albeit born of coal mining stock from the north east.
I will be eighty if I survive until December 14th. Chances are I may not as I think I may have pancreatic cancer, but I’ll try of course.
Many of your photos have a similar look to the countryside where we live, my wife Mary and me. Gently hilly and wooded. Obviously this personal statement is not meant for publication but I just wanted to thank you for all the pleasure and interest you have been giving to us your readers. Your range of cover, is amazing, whether your humble obsessions with a few ducks on your pond or the many technical aspects of animal life all over the globe.
If you hear from me again it will be a miracle but where there is life there is hope.
Goodbye for now anyway,
Peter Dawson
Otherwise Chervilmeadow and clondaw
I wish you the best, Peter.
I’m glad you enjoy this blog.
Awesome pictures!!
