Churchill is on Hudson Bay. The wolves in that area are Canis lupus nubilus. The white arctic wolves (C. l. arctos) They are found way, way north on Canada’s arctic islands and Greenland. Nubilus comes in all colors. Arctos is white as an adult; pale gray sable as a youngster.
The wolf doesn’t seem to be terribly concerned.
