I remember seeing this film when I was a child.
I do remember hating the otterhounds so much.
But now I am more worried about the otterhound going extinct.
That film was great propaganda against hounds. What else could you expect from a film based upon a novel by a British Nazi?

I never saw the movie, but I love the book about Tarka, the otter. I think the author tried hard(and succeeded admirably) in trying to portray an otter’s live-fully-in-every-moment view of things, so much so that it could be hard for a less intense, dweller-on-the-future/past human thinker to follow–and a good lesson for us all, to try to live more in the moment, like an otter must……
If only Williamson hadn’t been a follower of Oswald Mosley.
